Sonomo is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Financial Controller to oversee all operational financial activities within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial health and compliance while supporting its strategic growth. This position is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, managing tax and compliance matters, and producing valuable insights to inform decision-making at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company’s general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee tax reporting and collaborate with local tax authorities (e.g., Belastingdienst) to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Monitor and analyze platform performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and drive strategic improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly investor reporting packages, delivering transparency and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Provide support for legal and compliance-related matters, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assist in strategic financial planning initiatives, offering key insights to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
